The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Evening all and welcome to a very. very snowy Joe's Garage. It could be called a Zoo really because we're full of Leppards this week. Yes, they're all in town because we are carrying on work on our new album. It's very snowy outside. You could say we are a bunch of Snow Leppard's. It is mad here. It really is, blizzard weather but we're getting a lot of work done which is amazing. Sixty minutes of amazing music. Welcome everybody this is the Joe Elliott show and this is Planet Rock. Gonna dedicate this first song to anybody that has taken a tumble in this weather. This is The Beatles."

Montrose

"I don't think the second album ever got the credit that it deserved because the first album was so, so strong. That is Montrose. The Hagar line up of Montrose. Title track from their second album Paper Money. And before that from Use Your Illusion II we heard Guns N' Roses and Estranged."

Show Outro

"Wow a few minutes of absolute guitar hero worship there. From the album Obsession that is of course U.F.O. featuring that fantastic talents of mister Michael Schenker with a song called Pack It Up (And Go). And before that from his debut album back in 1976 we heard mister Pat Travers with his version of the old classic Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights)."

"Which brings us to the end of this particular show folks, been a pleasure as always. I shall be back with you next week at the same time. Hopefully we will be rid of this dreaded snow. Until then I'm gonna leave you with a song that really rocked my world when I was a young kid growing up. From the album The Slider this is T. Rex and the absolute magical Metal Guru. Until next week see ya!."
