Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen was interviewed yesterday by WRFX 99.7 radio host Arroe Collins and commented on the 2015 tour/studio album.
Phil talked about the 2015 studio album, the US tour with Styx and Tesla, playing live, the band's vocal harmonies, Manraze, improvising at live shows, not being a party band, Delta Deep, the Helen Wheels cover, MTV and the Pyromania Residency in Las Vegas.
Phil talks briefly about the album and the tour. Interestingly he mentions "America again" when talking about the tour routing. Seemingly suggesting a return after the UK shows. Or possibly also a reference to an early 2016 Las Vegas residency for Pyromania which he goes on to talk about - confirming it will not happen this year.
He also suggests (when talking about Delta Deep) that the Lep album may not be released before early June.

2015 studio album
"You know we started this about - literally a year ago in January. And initially it was just gonna be like a track or a single. Or you know just something like that and we got 12 songs together in a four week period. Which is totally unheard of with Def Leppard."
Working On Laptops
"That's something we didn't do on this new album that we're just doing the finishing touches. We actually went over to Joe's house in Dublin. But I do think I'm probably gonna do the odd guitar lick or vocal that's missing or something I'll just send that over. I'll record it on my Mac and send it over."
"If there's a part missing. that's usually what happens once you've done all the lead vocals, all the backing vocals. Sometimes there's a gap and you need like a harmony in there or something or a guitar lick you know you do that right at the end."
2015 US Tour
"Yeah we're thrilled and we've toured with both those bands before. We've spent a lot of time on the road with them - we get on really great with them. So that's makes it so much - special really you know."
2015 World Tour
"This which we're about to embark on. Which is probably gonna be about a year long and that's the longest one we've done for a while. You know it kicks off in Canada. Then we go to Eastern Europe. Then we come back and we do the States. You know and then it's Japan, Australia, New Zealand then it's England - America again. So it's all over the place. So yeah some of the places we were just here. Like my daughter she lives in Virginia and it seems like I was just there and - you know with her and she comes out here to California and stuff. But it's an interesting thing you know. You'll go somewhere and it looks very, very familiar but it's been nine months or six months since you was there last."
Delta Deep Touring
"Absolutely yes. In the gaps in between in Def Leppard's breaks we're actually gonna get out there and do some club gigs and stuff. So that's should be really exciting. And that album should be coming out probably late May/early June. So there's a good chance it may come out before the Def Leppard album."
Helen Wheels Cover
"Just got asked to contribute to something and you know and that was it I guess. No, I actually done my guitar - If I remember rightly I done my guitars on my laptop in Boston while we were in a hotel room. So it was all done very separately. I was overlooking the park on Boston common and there I was playing guitar. It was fun it was very cool."
