Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott appeared in the 2012 Status Quo documentary Hello Quo and it is being repeated again tonight on BBC Four in the UK.

It was last shown in September 2014 by the same channel. For those in the UK it will be available again on the BBC iPlayer after broadcast.

The 80 minute documentary was released in UK cinemas and on DVD/Blu-ray in October 2012. It was repeated again last night and can be viewed for the next 6 days.

Seven brief clips with Joe talking in his home studio are shown at around 1, 17, 19, 20, 40, 43 and 1hr8mins.

The documentary also features contributions from Brian May, Scott Gorham and one time Def Leppard back-up drummer Jeff Rich.

A new photo gallery of screenshots has been added to the show page.

Status Quo - Hello Quo

"You don't sell 128 million albums worldwide without putting in the graft and Status Quo are, quite possibly, the hardest working band in Britain. Alan G Parker's documentary Hello Quo, specially re-edited for the BBC, recounts the band's epic story from the beginning - when south London schoolmates Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster formed their first band with big ambitions of rock 'n' roll domination, quickly adding drummer John Coghlan and guitarist Rick Parfitt.

The film tells the story of Quo's hits from their unusually psychedelic early hit, Pictures of Matchstick Men, followed by a run through their classics Down Down to Whatever You Want."
