Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen was interviewed yesterday by Bo And Jim of Dallas radio and discussed the 2016 touring plans.
Phil talked about playing in Sturgis, the 2015 studio album, Delta Deep, Deep Purple, Vivian's health, the 2016 cruise, the first record he bought, postponing the Las Vegas residency again and Def Leppard touring plans for 2016.
Phil mentions the band hope to play in South America as well as playing in USA/Canada again in 2016. He also suggests the return to Vegas will not happen in early 2016 which suggests it's unlikely to happen before at least late 2016.
The band played it's only South American tour in April 1997 which was the final leg of the Slang world tour. Since then only Joe has been back to play a handful of dates with Kings Of Chaos.
The interview was conducted backstage at the Sturgis Rally although the DJs are from Dallas.

"We are yeah that's in January. We're touring up until the end of this year. We finish off in England actually in December. And them we do Christmas, do this cruise and then we're straight back in again. I think we're looking at some South American stuff. I think we may do the States and Canada again. So it's just non stop."
Another Residency In Las Vegas?
"Maybe. We keep having to cancel it because our album comes out the week after we finish the American tour. So we have to come back and tour. So every time - yeah which is the first time that's every happened. So because of that I think it's more important we get to the different cities than do the Vegas thing but we are gonna do it for sure. It just keeps - oh. We can't do it there."
