The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Happy birthday to me. Happy birthday to me. Yes, it's my birthday, and I'll cry if I want to. Evening all, it's the Joe Elliott show right here on the wonderful Planet Rock. Coming to you this week actually from California. We're on a little mini break. We start up again in about a week, decided to stay in the sun and why not. Sixty minutes of wonderful music tonight starting off with this very obvious one."

Muse

"I must admit when I first heard that Mutt Lange was gonna produce the latest Muse album. I wasn't really convinced that that was a marriage that was gonna last. Or work but I've been proven wrong. It's a fantastic record and it's taken me quite a while to get around to playing anything from it. But I really, really am enjoying the album. the album is called Drones. The track we just heard Reapers."

Show Outro

And that's about it for this week folks all the way from my little break in Cali-for-nia. I shall be back with you next week however from somewhere a little bit more, how you say, mean and dirty and loud. Yes, a biker fest in Sturgis in the Dakotas is where we shall be next Saturday. And I'm sure there shall be some tales to tell about that particular experience."

"Until then though gonna leave you with something from a band that you know well. The three piece from Canada called Rush. Their latest album Clockwork Angels is one of the best things they've ever done and this song by far is my favourite on the album. This is a song called The Wreckers. Until next week see ya!."
