Vivian Campbell Comments On Multiple Band Member Lead Vocal Song

Tuesday, 28th April 2015

Vivian Campbell 2013.
Las Vegas, NV April 2013

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell has been interviewed by Gibson and talked about the 2015 studio album.

He talked about the new album, his health, Last In Line and what guitars he uses on the road.

Vivian once again talked about the new song which features lead vocal contributions from all band members including Rick Allen - who also wrote at least one of the new songs.

The 'psychedelic' new track is not the one that features all the band on lead vocals.

Vivian first mentioned this new 'multiple lead vocals' song a few weeks ago when speaking to Calgary radio.

Gibson - Vivian Campbell Interview Quotes

New Song

"There are a couple of styles on the record we've never tried before. One song is psychedelic, and we've never done anything like that. Another song has all five of us taking turns singing lead vocals, which is a first for the band. All in all, I think it's the best record I've made in my 23 years with Def Leppard. The bad news is we won't be releasing it until later in the year."
