Def Leppard performed at the MTV Video Music Awards show on this day in 1992 and footage of Let's Get Rocked is available along with photos.
The band appeared for the second time at the awards during the Adrenalize US tour. The September 1989 appearance (a mostly playback version of 'Tear It Down') was the final appearance on stage with Steve Clark as a member of the band.
The band were nominated for four major awards on the night for the 'Let's Get Rocked' video.
the show took place at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, CA and was hosted by Dana Carvey. Also performing were Nirvana, Guns N' Roses, Pearl Jam, Bryan Adams and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
