Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen has been interviewed by The Press Enterprise ahead of the Rancho Mirage show.
Phil was interviewed by the same reporter as The Desert Sun but with different quotes used.
Phil talked about the longevity of the band, success, popularity of classic songs and recording new music.
The band will play in Rancho Mirage, CA for the first time tomorrow night.

"I think we have to be careful," he said. "If we put out an album like "X" (2002's poppier and polished studio album), I don't think that would be a good move. I liked that one and I thought it had some really good songs on it. But I think if we're going to put something out, it should be a little more raw-sounding. In fact, that's what we're working on now."
