The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"'ello 'ello 'ello and welcome to - well you're already on Planet Rock. But welcome to the Joe Elliott show. Sixty minutes of fantastic music coming up for ya. All the way from Elliott Towers. Yes Joe's Garage which has been the hub of industry this week. I've been chipping away at new music for the upcoming Def Leppard album which is due for release in the Spring of 2015. And if that doesn't out you in the mood to rock, then this will. This is the Heavy Metal Kids."

U2

"Well they've certainly whacked the hornets nest with the way they've released this album haven't they. That's a discussion that's gonna run and run and run but it shouldn't overshadow the fact that there are some fantastic songs n the new U2 album Songs Of Innocence. That for me a great example Every Breaking Wave. And before that we heard from the album Let There Be Rock the wonderful AC/DC with Dog Eat Dog."

Show Outro

"And that brings this weeks show to an end folks, been a pleasure as always. I shall be back with you next week at the same time. Until then I'm gonna leave you with a band that have just announced their 50th anniversary tour. And to my utter dismay have just postponed the Dublin and Belfast shows until next summer. They were due in in November where I could've seen them but now I shall be doing my own shows so I'm gonna miss it. Unless I travel far afield. Which they are worth travelling for because they are The Who and this is Long Live Rock. Until next week see ya!."
