Poison drummer Rikki Rockett has said Def Leppard were chosen instead of his band for the Summer Tour 2014 with KISS.
Rikki was asked in a recent interview about the rumour of Poison being part of the 2014 tour and contradicted previous statements by saying Lep were chosen in place of Poison. He goes on to talk about Poison's plans for 2015 with no mention of touring with Lep again.
Rikki tweeted on 27th February that one band member (believed to be Bret Michaels) was responsible for them not touring in 2014. Bass player Bobby Dall's told Backstage Axxess earlier that month that Poison might be playing with KISS/Def Leppard.
Poison were first mentioned as a possible touring partner for Lep again in July 2013 by Bret Michaels.
Bret Michaels once again told his own fans in April that Poison may tour with Lep in 2015.
