Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott performed with Kings Of Chaos and Brian May last night at the Classic Rock Roll Of Honour event in Los Angeles, CA.
The band's six song set took place at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA at the end of the awards ceremony. Joe also presented an award to Ozzy Osbourne. The awards are due to be shown in the US in December on AXS TV and possibly in the UK. Joe is shown above with Sammy Hagar who hosted the ceremony.
Joe sang lead vocals on Queen's 'Tie Your Mother Down' with Brian May joining them on guitar. This is the third time Joe has played the song with Brian following the 1992 Freddie Mercury Tribute show and Brian's guest appearance with Lep in London 2003.
Phil Collen did not attend the event as advertised. The main band were Matt Sorum (drums), Duff McKagan (bass/guitar), Gilby Clarke (guitar) and Nuno Bettencourt (guitar). Guest performers/singers indicated below.
KOC are returning to South Africa soon for three shows (without Joe) on 29th/30th November and 3rd December. Steve Tyler and Robin Zander will join them for the first time.
