The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Evening all and welcome to your very favourite radio station which of course is Planet Rock. Unless you've been tuned all day then you already know where you are. But it is that time of night where it is the Joe Elliott show and you're all very welcome. 60 minutes of fantastic coming up. And I have to add things are hotting up big time in Leppard land right now. I can't say any more than that. It is the worst kept secret in rock and roll, if you peruse the websites around the world - the rock websites. But stay tuned if you're in UK time, late evening on Monday there's gonna be an announcement made and I dare say it will be on the Planet Rock website also. I can't say anymore than that. But I will say this. This first song rocks."

Show Outro

"From a time period when walking into a room and saying I've got this great song and it's called Salamanda Palaganda. Well you did that thing back in 1968. Especially if your name was Marc Bolan. From the album Prophets, Seers & Sages that is Tyrannosaurus Rex with said Salamanda Palaganda and before that we heard the mighty Wreckless Eric with a Whole Wide World. Which brings us nicely to the end of this particular show. I shall be back with you next week at the same time. I'm off to Los Angeles for a few days for the big press announcement with the rest of the Leppard guys and a few other people that I'm sure that you've heard of. You'll read all about it next week. We shall talk all about it next week which is in the future. As is this. This is In The Future. It is Sparks from the album Indiscreet. Until next week see ya!."
