Gene Simmons has said Kiss will start their 40th anniversary tour in June and (if rumours are to be believed) it "may" be with Def Leppard.

Gene spoke to the Michael Des Barres radio show on 27th February and talked very briefly about their summer tour plans simply saying it would start in June. They have two other appearances booked before then this month and in April.

The rumour of Lep playing with Kiss was recently added to by Poison bass player Bobby Dall's interview with Backstage Axxess.

Joe Elliott played on stage with Gene as part of the Rock n Roll All-Stars in April 2012.

Vivian Campbell recently told fans on facebook the tour would be announced "any day now". The summer tour has always been likely to run from June to September/October with the band recording again in May and Joe starting production work in October with Black Star Riders.
