The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Well after last weeks crazy times in Leppard land and Down 'N' Outz-ville things seem to be kinda settling down back to normality around here. If there is such a thing as normal in rock 'n' roll that is. Welcome everyone to 60 minutes of fantastic music right here on your favourite radio station and my favourite radio station Planet Rock. Yes this is the Joe Elliott show and this is Lou Reed."

Show Outro

"Two vastly different ways for women to rock out right there. From a CD box collection of Glam Classics called Oh Yes We Can Love. That is from a TV show back in the mid 70s. The band Rock Follies featuring Rula Lenska as one of the three lady singers. She at the time was married to our favourite Sweenie Mr. Dennis Waterman. And before that yes they may have been manufactured and put together by Kim Fowler but they were the real deal cause they actually played gigs. Real gigs. The Runaways from the album The Queens Of Noise with Hollywood. Which brings us to the end of this particular show folks been a pleasure as always. I shall be back with you next week at exactly the same time. Until then I'm gonna leave you with this classic old Bowie song which originally featured Mick Ronson on guitar but on this version features the wonderful playing of Mr. Phil Collen. This is the Cybernauts and Panic In Detroit. Until next week see ya!."
