Def Leppard bassist Rick Savage has been sporting a new tattoo in 2014 and its origin has been revealed via various live fan photos.
Sav has had lines 15 to 21 of a poem called 'The Good-Morrow' by John Donne tattooed on the lower part of his left arm.
John Donne lived from 1573 to 1631 and was known as one of the English Metaphysical poets of the 17th century (in case you wondered).
The Good-Morrow by John Donne - Poem Quote
"My face in thine eye, thine in mine appears,
And true plain hearts do in the faces rest;
Where can we find two better hemispheres
Without sharp north, without declining west?
Whatever dies, was not mix'd equally;
If our two loves be one, or thou and I
Love so alike that none can slacken, none can die."
Thanks to Mark.
