Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen was interviewed on 24th July by Lisa Berigan of BIG 100.3 radio and he talked about the next album.
Phil talked about the Summer Tour 2014 with KISS, the 2015 studio album, wearing Gene's stage costume, military charities/roadies, how the band coped with Steve's Death/Rick's accident, joining the band in 1982, the Delta Deep album, new Manraze music, talent shows, the One Direction song and his health.

"We're just getting ready for finishing our next album off as well which we've started. We've got 15 songs on the go so we're very excited. There's a lot happening."
"That'll be next year. I mean we went in starting to maybe do an EP or a couple of tracks and we came out with 12 songs on a month. So for Def Leppard that's actually unheard of you know us who take three years to do an album. So we done some in February of this year then we went back and done another month. We're just gonna be finishing it off so they'll be 15 songs to choose from at least anyway. So yeah it should be ready for next year and we're gonna tour next year."
