Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has spoken about rock star actors in another The Bridge The Movie promo video.

Joe is due to play the role of "Ziggy". Joe's friend Ricky Warwick is playing the character "Nathan". The movie appearance was first mentioned back in February 2014.

According to the film's website it is a "coming-of-age, rock-n-roll drama that chronicles the unlikely rise of small town music prodigy Luke Weaver.".

An online fund-raising campaign was set up last month to hep fund the movie which has yet to be filmed.

The Bridge The Movie - Joe Elliott Interview Quote

"You want to do something different which is why we jumped like crazy at the chance of working with Taylor Swift. We had people looking at us as though we had three heads when we said yeah we'll do it. Why?. Why not?. She's a huge fan. She's the biggest thing on the planet and she wants to work with us duh!."

"So yeah I think Sting and all that crowd they do it because they can. I mean look at 'em. Jagger, Bowie, Sting, Joe Strummer there's been a bunch. Some of them are very - Tim McGraw's good. There's a lot of people that can sing - Kris Kristofferson. Probably a better actor than a singer. Frank Sinatra was a great actor. My Mum hates Frank Sinatra as a singer. Loves him as an actor. Tom Waits another great example - fucking nutbag. Love him. He's my hero. He's been in Frankenstein, he's been in a bunch of films."
