Morning Glory - Joe Elliott Interview Quotes

Down 'n' Outz

"I'd like it to grow. We are doing these clubs. I would be lying to you if I didn't say that in two of three years time I'd love to be able to bring it into theatres and see it grow because we're making a third album that we're gonna write. And so you know it's gonna be like the Travelling Wilburys or you know that kind of a thing where it'll just have a life of its own and it'll come to a natural ending or it'll keep going and run parallel with my career in Def Leppard and their career in The Quireboys."

"That's why I finance this all myself. This is complete and utter cottage industry. The way I look at it I don't make any money doing the Down 'n' Outz but I have a lot more fun than if I went to some camping store and bought ten grand's worth of hooks and ropes and said I'm going off to climb Mount Everest. This is my Everest. I love doing this."
