On This Day in Def Leppard History - 29th August, the following concerts and events took place. Including the 'Hysteria' album entering the UK album charts at Number One 27 years ago on this day in 1987.

The first Def Leppard album to reach the top spot anywhere in the world. Its success was helped by the single 'Animal' becoming their first Top Ten hit earlier in the same month. The album had been released on 3rd August 1987 worldwide.

The band continue the Summer Tour 2014 tonight in Tulsa, OK which was last played in September 2011. Check back later for the setlist.
