Mark Skaar - Phil Collen Interview Quotes

November Shows/Next Album

"This year we're pretty much chocl-a-block because we finish - I think we've got a couple of shows in November - and then we really have to finish our new album off. Which we actually only started in February. We've got 15 songs on the go and we have to finish that so we can get it released for next year hopefully and then it'll be a world tour."

Delta Deep/2015 Studio Album/Manraze

"We've finished the recording. We've gotta mix the album. We may record two more bonus tracks literally when I get off tour in about two weeks. So yeah we'll finish that off and then also we have the Def Leppard record to finish off as well. So it's gonna be busy studio time I guess. It's not - we don't really go into a studio that much any more I do a lot of the work at home on my laptop. Plug my guitar directly into that but yeah it's great. Same as the Manraze stuff we actually start the stuff you can do so much with technology these days it's pretty amazing. So hopefully we'll get some new Manraze stuff on the go as well soon. So it's just a matter of getting the timing right for it really and some spare time to actually get this on the go."

Vivian's Health

"He's doing really good he's in remission. He went through some real nasty chemo treatment actually while we were on tour. You know it kind of knocked him flat but he's doing so much better. He's got his strength back. I can actually hear it you know I have my ear monitors on stage and his voice, that's my indication of how he's doing and his voice is back up to full strength. So he's doing really well. He's got to undergo some more stuff after this tour but you know he's doing really great and he's in remission. So that's really good news."
