Def Leppard played a show in Mannheim, West Germany on 31st August 1986 at the Monsters Of Rock festival and photos are available.

This was the last of of the four big Monsters Of Rock shows played that month following a warm-up tour in Ireland. Rick Allen's first shows back with the band after his December 1984 car accident - The Return Of The Thundergod.

The Seizoensgebonden blog has posted 25 photos from that show online. They show the extent of the rain shower that soaked the band to the skin. Steve and Phil in their kilts, Rick with his L Plate drum kit and Joe holding an umbrella brought on stage by Bruce Dickinson.
