Donna Donna - Phil Collen Interview Quote

2015 Studio Album

"We went in last February and we thought we was gonna do like you know maybe four songs, maybe an EP. We came out with 12 songs so we said well there's an album's worth of material here. The next session was in May we finished off some of the other stuff and wrote three more so we've got 15 songs to choose from. We're gonna go back probably in November when we've finished this tour and just finished the whole thing off and put an album out next year. Like I said it was a big surprise to us because you know it's not that important to put albums out these days because no one actually goes and buys them it's kind of a rare thing. But you know we're not gonna stop the flow so we said we've got this stuff. We're very excited about it. It's just a great collection of music. So we're really proud that we're gonna be putting an album out and we're gonna do a world tour with it next year."

Vivian's Health

"Right now he's doing great. He had to go in and have some other kind of treatment actually while we were on tour. So there was a few days out there where he really was not in a good way you know because it's very - it's exhausting on the body. It's like being beaten up. So he's doing great now we've just gotta wait for the doctors and this week we'll find out exactly what is going on what the next course of action is. So it's you know cancer's a really weird so it's a nasty business. Yeah but he's doing wonderful at the moment he's got his strength back, his voice come back he's singing his butt off, it's wonderful and we've just gotta wait to see what kind of treatment he's gonna go for next. You know whether it's really aggressive or whether he stays on the same course of action that he's on right now."
