On This Day in Def Leppard History - 11th August, the following concerts and events took place. Including the US/Canadian release of the single 'Women' 27 years ago on this day in 1987.
The first North American single taken from the 'Hysteria' album which reached number 80 in the Billboard chart.
Also on this day in 1986 Rick Allen played his first complete show with one arm in Waterford, Ireland. Back up drummer Jeff Rich having played with him at the first four shows of the Irish tour. It was decided Rick should do the full gig having played the first six songs of the last show by himself when Jeff turned up late and he has played every show this way since.
