Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has been interviewed by Songfacts about songwriting and the second Down 'n' Outz album The Further Adventures Of...
Joe talked about the writing of various Def Leppard songs, the new Down 'n' Outz album, the proposed third album of original material, Ian Hunter/Mott The Hoople.
The The Further Adventures Of... features 12 tracks was released yesterday in the UK and around the world this week. The iTunes version includes two further bonus tracks.

"Two Steps Behind," for example, I wrote on a guitar. Obviously, because that's what it is. But other stuff that I've written, like "Undefeated" off the Mirrorball album, was all written on guitar. But the new Down 'n' Outz material for album three - God willing it gets made - was all pretty much written on piano. But there's going to loads of guitars all over it, as well."
