The Penthouse - Phil Collen Interview Quotes

Vivian's Health

"He's good he's got to have some more tests before we go on tour. So we'll have to see how that turns out but you know - If anyone didn't know he had Hodgkin's Lymphoma last year just before we done the Vegas residency. Actually during the Vegas residency and then he was on chemo and all that stuff. So yeah they've gotta check him out and see how he's doing so that's coming up pretty soon."

Pyromania residency

"Well they asked us to do it this year but I don't think we could fit it in because this tour you know with KISS goes till September. I don't think we'll actually be ready but we are definitely gonna do it again at some point. I don't know exactly when it's gonna be. We're gonna definitely do that again cause it was so much fun and everyone came out from all over the world. Japan, Chile, Singapore, every State in America, Canada, Europe. People would come over and see it so it was pretty spectacular. So yeah we'd love to do it again it's just getting the right timing."

2015 Studio Album Recording Release Plans

"Yes we're doing a new Def Leppard album so that's gonna be out next year. We started - we thought we were just gonna do like four songs and we went over to Joe's house in Dublin and we got 11 songs started. So - unheard of for us and really cool stuff so I'm actually going back to there in about two weeks. We're gonna do some more recording and we should have it finished by the end of the year and out next year."
