The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Oooh, ouch. Feeling a little brittle this evening folks. I just came back from the UK having had two days over there. Thursday night was in Sheffield for the first ever public screening of the VIVA! Hysteria which was a good time. And yesterday I was at the wedding of my good friend Paul Guerrin. Guitarist for the Quireboys and the Down 'N' Outz who married the beautiful Trish yesterday at 4 o'clock. So feeling a little - I think the word is hungover. Anyway welcome to the Joe Elliott show right here on Planet Rock and this one goes out to Paul and Trish this is Dave Edmunds."

Def Leppard

"That came up randomly on one of my playlists on my iPod the other day and I thought well why not I'll throw it in the show. I don't think it's ever been played on the radio before. That is from the X album Def Leppard and Love Don't Lie."

Show outro

And that just about wraps it up for this week. I think I may go and take a little lay down. Let's hope I don't tumble on the way. Which is a classic link into this brilliant piece of work by Cockney Rebel from The Psychomodo album. This until next week is Tumbling Down. Take care of yourselves. See ya!"
