Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen has announced that a new Manraze three track EP will be released in six weeks time.

Phil mentioned the news to fans on facebook a few days ago while the EP was being mixed in London. He has also gone on to tell DJ Eddie Truck that the EP will be titled 'Surrender' or I Surrender" and is set for release in six weeks time (presumably during November). Phil's current condition sadly rules out any live shows until 2014.

Phil mentioned new music for this year and an old song being reworked back in February 2013.

The possibilities include three songs not used on the 'Surreal' album - 'I Can't Live Without You', 'Surrender' and 'Original Sin'. And given the title Phil announced yesterday 'Surrender' would seem quite likely to appear.

Manraze's last release was the Take On the World single which came out in February 2012 along with a promo video shot in England.

Phil Collen - 19th September facebook Quotes

"MANRAZE is brewing..."

"We're prepping an ep release with 3 songs for later this year. I won't be playing guitar anytime soon. I've got about 3 to 6 months before I bend strings again."
