On This Day in Def Leppard History - 19th September, the following concerts and events took place. Including the cinema release of the VIVA! Hysteria Live At The Joint, Las Vegas film today across the UK/Ireland.
The concert film which was shot mostly on 30th March during the Las Vegas residency is playing today at Vue, Cineworld, Showcase and Odeon cinemas. The first time a Def Leppard concert has received a theatrical release.
The film will then be released on CD & DVD/Blu-ray disc on October 21st with both the 29th/30th March 'Ded Flatbird' opening sets included.
Also on this day in 1987 the 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' single entered the UK Top 40 singles chart at Number 31. Previous single 'Animal' was still at Number 40 on the same day. The 'Hysteria' album was also at Number 8 in the UK Album Charts. Its last week of 4 in the Top 10.
