The Queen - Phil Collen Interview Quotes
New Manraze/Def Leppard studio albums?
"Yes. Absolutely. We're actually gonna start writing and recording in January at some point. We've got a bunch of stuff already half done. I mean this song I Surrender actually dates back from 2004. We re-recorded the whole thing but we kept Paul Cook's original drum track. He'd done in a little demo studio in London and re-wrote the song and recorded it over that but there's a lot more floating around and we're kind of anxious to get at them actually."
"I'm learning slide guitar I've got a blues album actually Simon's gonna be playing on it as well. That's gonna come out next year. Delta Deep with Debbi Blackwell-Cook singing. I'm re-learning how to play guitar so my first date if you like where I have to play guitar is when I meet Simon in January at some point and then 1st February we go into the studio with Def Leppard to do new stuff which again I'm really excited. I think it's just great to be writing and recording and making new songs all the time it's so much fun."
