The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Evening everybody and welcome to The Joe Elliott show on Planet Rock. You're all very welcome. 60 minutes of some great music tonight. Along with some classic songs by bands like Alice Cooper, Yes, the Clash and The J Geils Band we are gonna be celebrating the life and times of one Lou Reed who passed away earlier this week. Starting off with this classic from his Transformer album."

Show outro

"Their one and only hit in the UK back in 1972. That is a fantastic song called Run, Run, Run by a band called Jo Jo Gunne. And before that we heard from the album Ro Sham Bo, The Grays and the Very Best Years. Which brings us nicely to the end of this week's show. Lou Reed gave us the best years of his life and I think it's very fitting that we end tonight's show with this particular song. From the 1973 album Berlin this is Sad Song. Until next week goodnight."
