Two singers who have both worked with Def Leppard, Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw have collaborated on a new song which had its video premiere this week.

The Tim McGraw song 'Highway Don't Care' was premiered earlier this week during a Google hangout and it features guest vocals from Taylor Swift along with guitar from Keith Urban.

Tim co-wrote and sang co-lead vocals on the Nine Lives single from 2008. Taylor and her band performed with Lep at the 2008 CMT Crossroads special and later at the 2009 CMT Country Music Awards. The song's other guest Keith Urban attended the 2006 show in Nashville with wife Nicole Kidman.

Their other connection to Def Leppard is tour manager Robert Allen, brother of Rick Allen. He worked for over 10 years with Tim and is currently on the road with Taylor on her Red world tour. He was mentioned in a recent article by the New Zealand Herald and of course worked for Def Leppard up to the end of the Pyromania tour.

New Zealand Herald - News Article Quote

"Soon after our interview, Taylor is on stage for a lengthy soundcheck, which I get to watch with tour manager Robert Allen, an Englishman who now calls America home. He used to manage Def Leppard."

"When he tells me his brother Rick is the drummer, it takes every ounce of self-control not to break into that line of the Bloodhound Gang song: "The drummer from Def Leppard's only got one arm.".
