The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Greetings fellow rockers and welcome to the Joe Elliott Show right here on the very wonderful Planet Rock. Coming to you this week all the way from Def Leppard's rehearsal room in Los Angeles. We are getting ready for the big push for the 11 show residency VIVA Hysteria! that is taking place March and April in Las Vegas. I shall fill you in as the weeks go by"

U.F.O.

"It's a little known fact that a couple of years before I had the opportunity to front Def Leppard for what is now the best part of 36 years. I actually started out as a 15 year old apprentice back in Sheffield in a factory called Osbourne's. And on the very first day that I started so did a bunch of other kids and one of them a very good friend of mine still to this day called Colin who had very similar musical tastes to me. We got together during the lunch break, we discussed music. I introduced him to the great American band that is Montrose and he introduced me to that band that we just heard there. The phenomenal U.F.O. and from the album Phenomenon we just heard Doctor Doctor."
