Def Leppard played a show in Barcelona, Spain on 24th June and fans showed their support to Vivian Campbell.
UK fan Sue attended the show and has shared some details of the support Vivian received from the crowd during the show and when he was introduced (as normal) by Joe before 'Arnageddon It'.
Italian fan Gianluca put together a special banner which was held over the railings in front of the thrust stage for Vivian to see when he came to the front of it. Sue took a photo of him holding the banner before the show started (as seen in the blog). "We thought Vivian was standing back a little - whether that was intentional or just how we read it I don't know. The only thing that was said was at the beginning of Armageddon It was Joe said something like "Two words - VIVIAN CAMPBELL!!!" Of course the place erupted - if there had been a roof on we would've lifted it I'm sure. Vivian was clearly touched - and at the end of the song he came back down the thrust to take his applause and thank everyone. I noticed on a couple of solo bits he was applauded where before I never noticed. He pointed out to us and smiled at us - and came down to us at the end when they were finishing. I'm glad he saw us - I know he knew we were there to support him - which we were. So I think it was his normal introduction - but it was extra special xx"
