On This Day in Def Leppard History - 16th July, the following concerts and events took place. Including the first of two nights in East Troy, WI 25 years ago on this day in 1988 during the Hysteria tour.
The show came one day after the death of road crew member Steve Cater who died following a motorcycle accident. This was also the first night of the outdoor summer run with 'Run Riot' opening the show and 'Love Bites' was played live for the first time.
Also on this day in 1999 the band played the first main show of the Euphoria tour in Cadott, WI at the Chippewa Valley Rock Fest. Scorpions and Motley Crue were also on the bill.
As of 2013, Def Leppard have played 10 times on this date.
