Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell has revealed he will be recording a new solo album this summer.
Vivian told fans on facebook that the album will be a "guitar driven hard rock record".
His only previous solo work was the 2005 blues covers album 'Two Sides Of If' and one instrumental track (called 'Sixgunz') for a compilation album in 1989.

Is there a possibility that Last In Line will record a full length studio album?.
"We have no plans to record with Last In Line. However, starting late summer, I'll be recording an album of my own. I've already started writing songs for it and it'll be a guitar driven hard rock record."
