Def Leppard fan Desta Byrd was murdered in 1999 and her case has been featured on US TV show Dateline.
After 14 years her husband was convicted of the murder in November 2013. The show tells the story of how she died and the lengthy battle for justice by her childhood friend.
Desta was featured in some of the crowd scenes of the 1989 "In The Round-In Your Face" concert film shot in Denver, CO in February 1988. She can be seen during 'Photograph' and 'Animal'. Three photos of her with Joe, Phil and Sav (as seen above) are shown in the video below.
