The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro/Last In Line/DIO

"Don't touch that dial people because you're already at the home of rock. Welcome to the Joe Elliott show right here on Planet Rock. This is the Heavy Metal Kids."

"And talking of bands with replacement singers I'm just back down from Belfast where I went to see Last In Line. Which of course is DIO without Dio. Vivian Campbell, Jimmy Bain, Vinny Appice and Claude Schnell, The original DIO band from the first three albums. They played a little club called The Limelight. It was absolutely jam packed full with DIO fans and they went down an absolute storm and it was very heart warming to see the kind of response that Vivian Campbell was getting from his home town fans. It was just heart warming. They encored with this particular track. This is We Rock."

Show outro

"And that brings us to the end of the show sad to say. I shall be back with you next week. Until then I'm gonna leave you with this epic track. It starts slow, it builds to a real raucous climax and then it kind of goes all comical at the end. I'm talking of course of the Sensational Alex Harvey Band."
