On This Day in Def Leppard History - 1st August, the following concerts and events took place. Including the birth of lead singer Joe Elliott in 1959 who celebrates his 54th birthday today.
The band have performed six times on Joe's birthday. Only once with Steve Clark in the band and never with the classic Steve/Phil band line up. The first birthday show for Joe was as a support act to AC/DC with Brian Johnson on vocals when he turned 21.
