Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott hosted another edition of his weekly radio show last night on Planet Rock.
This weeks show included songs by AC/DC, Rod Stewart and The Beatles. Joe talked about the residency and confirmed he'll be in Sydney, Australia next weekend with the Kings Of Chaos.

"Evening all and welcome to the Joe Elliott show right here on the very wonderful on Planet Rock. Coming to you this week for the very last time from Sin City, Yes, Las Vegas, Nevada where the VIVA Hysteria! residency is coming to an end this very evening. We've been here for nearly a month and it's been an absolute blast. It's been one of the most brilliant experiences that we've had in our 35 years as a band and it's something I think that we'd really like to revisit one day. It's been absolutely rockin'."
Billy Idol/Las Vegas Fans
"One of the great things about doing a residency in a place like Las Vegas is the fact that there's no travel involved for the band. But there is for the audience and we've had lots of people travelling from as far and as wide as places like Japan, Australia, New Zealand, mainland Europe, Great Britain. They really have travelled a long way. It's a lot of dedication to come and see a band to travel that far. We've also had a lot of celebrity visitations over the last three and a half weeks. People like John Mayer, who's a big fan, Nicolas Cage and a couple of guys who are really good friends of ours that we've known for a long time. We've toured with them in the past and as kids we grew up watching these guys on TV. Well specifically one of them. One of them being Billy Idol. The other one being Steve Stevens. Steve Stevens I shall be working with next week in the Kings Of Chaos, more of that later. As for Billy Idol this is where he got his break and I did see them on Top Of The Pops. This is Generation X."
