Def Leppard are featured in a new video announcing an upcoming appearance in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The owners of the Allianz Parque stadium today announced plans to rename the stadium ahead of its grand reopening. One of three names will be chosen in a poll that ends of 20th May - Allianz Park, Allianz and Allianz Center 360.
In the video both Joe Elliott and Jennifer Lopez seem to indicate they will perform at an event in the stadium. The stadium is home to the Palmeiras football club and sponsored by Allianz. It is currently being rebuilt.
None of the news websites mention any concert event but it would likely happen when the stadium opens. According to Wikipedia that is not due to happen until November 2013 (or early 2014 according to one of the stories linked below).
Footballers Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane also feature in the short video which can be seen below. Some of the news stories suggest the celebrities were "giving their opinions on the preferred names".
The band have already announced 23 shows in 2013 with 11 having been played in Las Vegas during the VIVA Hysteria! residency in March/April. If the band do play here it will be their first time in the city since April 1997 on the Slang tour.
