A special two hour radio documentary about Def Leppard titled 'Rock Till You Drop' will be replayed on 8th October by BBC 6 Music.
The station are celebrating Sheffield with some special shows and Def Leppard will be part of the celebrations (see following news stories).
The two hour special features ex BBC Radio One DJ Claire Sturgess talking to all the band members about their history up until 1993 when the show was first broadcast. It aired in the run up to the Don Valley show broadcast (one week after the gig in June 1993). Many detailed and interesting stories are shared along with the playing of a rare radio session track 'Good Morning Freedom'.
The first part airs at 4-5am on 8th October. It will be available for 7 days after this on the BBC iPlayer. The second part follows at the same time on 9th October. The documentary was last aired by the station in October 2010 along with the 1996 Sheffield recording from Radio One.
