Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott continued his tribute to late keyboardist Dick Decent last night on his weekly Planet Rock radio show.

Dick passed away two weeks ago following medical complications and a long illness.

Joe played two more songs to showcase his vocal skills. These included a Cybernauts studio track 'Panic In Detroit' and one by Dick's own band Decent Pie called 'Fire In The Sky'.

The Joe Elliott Show - 29th September Quotes

"Personally I'm still reeling over the death of my very good friend and fellow Cybernaut Dick Decent. Now last week we did pay tribute to Dick by playing some songs that showed off his piano playing. This week I'm gonna go with something that shows off his voice. The first track is a Cybernauts song that Dick does all the high vocals on. Check 'em out. And the second song is one of Dick's very own tunes and he takes lead vocal on it. Dick Decent rest in peace my friend."

"The local Midlands scene is really gonna miss that guy. He was based near Dudley where the Robin II is for those of you familiar with that area of the world. He's worked in the past with people like Trevor Burton from The Move, Steve Gibbons and he was also Ginger from The Wildhearts' musical director for a little while. Dick Decent extremely talented guy. A great singer as you could hear on those two tracks. The one you just heard was his band Decent Pie and a track called Fire In The Sky. There's some great vocals on that and before that all the high backing vocals on Bowie's Panic In Detroit from the studio album by the Cybernauts."

The full one hour show can be listened to again ON DEMAND at the Planet Rock website. The songs begin at 7 mins in (after a certain Def Leppard track).
