Lita Ford has announced the release date of her new solo album and spoke about her support slot on the upcoming Def Leppard Rock Of Ages tour 2012.
Lita will release the album "Living Like A Runaway" on 19th June just before kicking off the tour in Salt Lake City. She will be the opening act at 17 shows (not including Cadott, WI).
Many Lep fans will be unaware that Rick Allen has previously shared a stage with Lita during a Bon Jovi show. She was supporting the band on their December 1988 'New Jersey' UK tour when she, Rick Allen, Brian May and Elton John joined Bon Jovi to play two songs ('Get Back' and 'Travellin' Band') during the encore section of their third night at Wembley Arena. Brief clips of this event were shown in Bon Jovi's road movie 'Access All Areas'.
