Def Leppard members Joe Elliott and Rick Allen were interviewed by Alan 'Fluff' Freeman on the Saturday Rock Show in 1993 and you can now hear it online.
Joe and Rick talk about the early experiences of music, how the band formed and how the continued through Rick's accident and Steve's death and pick some of their favourites songs.
The Saturday Rock Show aired on Radio 1 alongside the Friday Rock Show and ended later in 1993. Joe phoned Alan during his last show to wish him well in his retirement. He later passed away (in November 2006) after over 40 years in radio.
