Def Leppard appeared at the Brit Awards in February 1989 and various videos from the event can be seen online.
The awards show took place on 13th February at the Royal Albert Hall and is infamous for the terrible presenting duo of Mick Fleetwood and Samantha Fox. This was the first year the event was shown live on BBC TV.
Def Leppard were nominated for Best British Group for the second consecutive year and performed a playback version of 'Pour Some Sugar On Me'. This can been seen below courtesy of silkwood88 (who has also posted the entire show, watch if you fancy a laugh). PSSOM starts at 5:36min in.
The official Brit Awards website has some video footage of the award presentations. These include Joe Elliott presenting the Best British Male award with Joan Armatrading and segments where Lep were nominated in both 1988/1989. A gallery of six photos can also be seen on the site featuring the band backstage and performing.
