Hello America.

On This Day in Def Leppard History - 21st February, the following concerts and events took place.

Including the UK release of the single 'Hello America' in 1980. This single (a different recording to the 1979 version) was the first to be released from the 'On Through The Night' album and reached number 45 in the UK singles chart.

Also on this day the band began the opening UK leg of their 'Pyromania' world tour in Manchester. The first major UK tour with Phil Collen in the band who had replaced Pete Willis in July 1982 as the album was being recorded.
