Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott and guitarist Phil Collen appear in the current Sky Arts 1 TV documentary series Metal Evolution.
Joe and Phil were seen in episode 4 which aired for the first time last night in the UK. The episode featured them talking about Def Leppard's song oriented approach compared to other early 80s metal bands and how 'Pyromania' was able to become such a success. An episode of the 2010 series 'Video Killed The Radio Star' featuring Def Leppard (Joe Elliott/Rick Savage and director David Mallet) can be seen again tonight at 11:45pm on Sky Arts 1. This 30 minute show focuses on the making of the 'Photograph' video.
