The Joe Elliott Show - Quote

Led Zeppelin

"I can't get my head around the fact that that's already over five years old and it's only just come out. That is Led Zeppelin from the Celebration Day DVD, Blu-Ray, CD with Misty Mountain Hop with Jason Bonham singing the high vocal there. And you know Jason being the drummer standing in for his father did a fantastic job! Absolutely nailed it and it was something I never thought I'd get to see. Until of course I figured out when Foreigner who were opening for Def Leppard in the summer of 2007 were having to get a stunt drummer every now and again cause Jason was sneaking off. And once I figured out why I took him to one side and said I know what you're doing and the hush money was two tickets. Thank you Jason because 20 million people applied and I was very fortunate to be able to go and see that show. It was something that we'll probably never see again so that was Zeppelin from Celebration Day with Misty Mountain Hop."

Kiss

"When I toured the South American continent in April of 2012 with the Rock And Roll All-Stars I was very privileged to have heard that song six months before it was released because when Gene Simmons whips it out you've got to be thankful that it's just the iPod he's taking out. And I got to hear the song on a plane privately on his earphones and it sounded fantastic then and it sounds fantastic now. The song Wall Of Sound from the album Monster."
