Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell has been interviewed by KRXO radio and said the band will enter the studio to record new songs in early 2013.
He also mentioned it would only be a few songs and gave no indication of when the material would be released.
Unfortunately after sharing this news no follow up questions were asked. The rest of the 20 minute interview dealt with his pre-Leppard history, solo work, his guitar tech, being the new guy in the band after 20 years, keeping fit on the road, playing with DIO in the old days and his first shows with the band.

"We're very aware that we're well overdue to record and release some new music and we're going to do so next Spring. I don't know if it's going to be a full album or not but we're definitely going to be recording."
