On This Day in Def Leppard History - 29th August, the following concerts and events took place. The 'Hysteria' album went straight into the UK album charts at Number One on this day in 1987.
The first Def Leppard album to reach the top spot anywhere in the world. Its success was helped by the single 'Animal' becoming their first Top Ten hit earlier in the same month. The album had been released on 3rd August 1987 and celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
The band are due to play in Lampe tonight which will mean they'll have played 10 times on this date. The 33rd show of the Rock Of Ages Tour 2012 takes place at the Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater.
